When you submit or bid on a product on Outbidr (outbidr.lol), we collect the following public information:

• Website Domain & URL: The domain name you submit to be ranked.
• Product Metadata: Title, description, initials, category, and public brand color.
• Bid Details: Bid amount, timestamp, and order status.
• Optional Contact Email: Provided during checkout to receive payment receipts from our payment partner.

All checkout transactions are processed by Dodo Payments Inc., who acts as our Merchant of Record and reseller.

Outbidr never sees, stores, or processes your full credit card numbers, bank account details, or CVV. Payment data is collected and encrypted directly by Dodo Payments under PCI-DSS compliant standards.

Outbidr is a public attention leaderboard. By submitting a bid, you acknowledge that your domain name, product category, rank position, bid amount, and verified status are displayed publicly on the website and stored in historical daily snapshot archives.

We do not use invasive tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. We only use browser localStorage for:

• Saving your theme preference (dark / light mode).
• Remembering recently searched products on your local device.

We use privacy-respecting, modern infrastructure partners:

• Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights: Cookieless, privacy-friendly telemetry measuring page views, performance (Core Web Vitals), and aggregate regional traffic without tracking individual identities.
• Supabase / PostgreSQL: Secure encrypted database hosting for leaderboard state.
